Private Custom Charter on the Maine Coast
Enjoy the comfort and relaxation of cruising on The Elizabeth T., our refurbished lobster boat. It was built right here on Mount Desert Island out of local cedar and oak. We carry up to 21 passengers, making it a perfect size boat for a scenic trip.
Our typical 2 hour tour cruises into Somes Sound Fjard and Valley Cove. We’ll visit a seal colony on East Bunker Ledge and pass by Sutton Island. We’ll also cruise by Bear Island Lighthouse and the Cranberry Islands where a fishing community is anchored after 200 years! It is very common to see other wildlife like osprey, guillemot, eider ducks, bald eagle and more. This excursion has stunning views over the Acadia National Park mountain range and coast line, it is a great experience for the whole family and friends. You can bring drinks and food like a picnic style.

An excursion aboard the lobster boat Elizabeth T is a safe, comfortable experience. We refurbish the boat every year, inspecting for any necessary repair and maintenance. Our route keeps us within the protected waters of the Cranberry Islands, so you can expect calm water. There is a small toilet on board, blankets for cool weather, and an electric cooler for drinks. Our captains are Coast Guard licensed and we carry all safety gear including lifejackets (adult and child), first aid kits, and fire extinguishers.
